Our Hope is in God, Family & Country; Their Hope is in ???
A recent survey revealed that one-third of teenage girls have considered suicide. What would cause this level of despair?
It is simple, when everything that gives life joy and purpose is taken away from our young people what do you have left other than fear and despair.
- They took away God and religion. Research shows religious kids are much more happy than secular kids.
- We give them nothing positive to believe in i.e., God, country, family, personal accomplishments, pride in ethnic heritage.
- We teach them that America’s past is awful – racist, colonialism, white supremacy; and their future is awful – certain death and destruction due to climate change; no chance of prosperity or accomplishment due to systemic class and racial oppression.
- We have taken away any pride, patriotism, and love of country.
- They are fed hours of toxic social media every day. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvM8hqoHXkI
- They are not even secure in their biological gender and sexual identity.
So, if you deprive our youth of God and religion, a meaningful purpose, family, patriotism, a past that they could be proud of, and a future with hope – what do you expect?
If you have any understanding of human nature, do you expect that the results should be any different? Young people are saying that they are so discouraged and disillusioned with the prospects of their future that they are not even thinking about having children. We have a generation or two that believe life is so depraved and hopeless that they don’t even want to reproduce the species – foregoing the experience of love, pride and the joy of having children. They don’t see the joy and fulfillment of a meaningful relationship. Give Satan his due – his desire for an earthly principality of chaos and evil has been ushered in by the willful submission of his followers. This has been a repeating theme throughout human history.
Our youth are so broken spirited and filled with so much unwarranted fear. Who are they going to turn to for answers? For security? For hope? To be their savior? Do they really believe Government or pop culture to be their savior???
The enlightened secular elitist (Democrats) will have you believe that their socially designed and engineered government programs are the answer. Just trust us and surrender all your liberties to us – we will take care of you.
I challenge you to take a critical analysis of human history and tell me how putting trust and power in the authoritarian elitists has worked in the past. Oh, but because of science and technology they are so much more enlightened today than any time in history. You must also believe they have attained a much higher degree of morality and altruism than ever before in human history. So much so that we no longer need to cling to the concept of inalienable rights or rely on the checks and balanced imbedded in our Constitution.
Have we reached a point of no return? A point where we will never return to the Judeo-Christian values that are the foundation and inspiration of our Constitutional – Where individual sovereignty and the centrality of the family are cherished. The warnings have been wisely, intelligently, and logically articulated for several decades. However, the message is no longer understood, valued, or considered by this generation. Have we reach the point where the narrative has morphed from a warning to a sad ‘I told you so’? Yet I can’t turn away, it’s like a train wreck that you can’t help from watching.

Those are great points JIM. I feel at my age I have a unique perspective on what you’ve written about. I grew up in the 60s and 70s in South Phoenix. Right at the base of South Mountain’s. My life consisted of riding bicycles with all my friends, building forts in the desert, climbing every hill in those mountains and playing any sport that had a ball. Nobody was really confused on much of anything. We all knew what we liked and didn’t like and if we were confused about anything it was what time to be home for dinner. Mom would unconfuse us very quickly if we were late and you knew you had better pay a little closer attention to the time in the future. There’s a point here there wasn’t a lot of confusion. When I look at the youth of today there is confusion everywhere.
Parents in good faith can lay a moral foundation for their children. When they are sent off to school they can be taught things that conflict with that moral base. All of my friends that I grew up with were never confused about who they were. The boys knew that they were boys and we’re relishing the first day that they could kiss a girl. The girls knew that they were girls and speaking for them they were probably looking forward to that day too. In today’s world the youth are being told that if you were born a boy you don’t have to remain a boy and if you were born a girl you don’t have to remain a girl. I’m reminded that God‘s word says that we all were created them male and female. Remember the moral base that I talked about earlier it can be eroded to the Point that people can actually believe that God made a mistake. Well I might be old-fashioned but God‘s word says he does not make mistakes. Whether they’re male or female they were created in gods image and created in the gender they were born. Sadly the Times have changed. In my young childhood we might be confused about what career path we wanted to pursue. Most of us boys in that day and age wanted to be astronauts. Today many of our youth are wondering whether they are truly male or female even though their biological plumbing would tell them that. I’m not sure as a society how far we’re going to go down this rabbit hole. But if we continue to go down this rabbit hole I don’t see it ending well. I’m also reminded that God‘s word says he is not the author of confusion. So maybe what we’re looking at here is the elimination of God from the landscape. Life becomes meaningless and confusion can abound without him. So if you have children or grandchildren let me encourage you. Pray over them continuously. And remind them they are created in his image. They should be getting their value and truth from their Creator and not from their gender. Imo God is our only hope.
If you have children I’d encourage home schooling, if you don’t have time find other home schooling parents ask for their help. Spend time with your children. Go camping, disengage them from social media’s indoctrination. May God bless you
